The Parable Of The Ten Foolish Men
The kingdom of heaven is like ten foolish men in search of treasure.
They found unrefined gold and said, “This is ugly. It must be useless.”
So, they threw it away.

Next, they found silver and said, “What is this?
It must be slippery.” And, they cast it into the gutters.

When they found a refuse dump of empty cartons and packets, they said,
“Here are beautiful packets and cartons. They must be very precious.”
Therefore, they made great loads of the containers,
and each carried his own load on his head.
At home, they settled down to celebrate with great joy.

Comment:
Is it not surprising that we leave the Gold
in pursuit of frivolities?

Indeed, God is like a university,
only those who learn from different good lecturers
become the best students.

The Sole Purpose Of Life On Earth

A farmer took the seeds of a plant and sowed them in a field. After many years, he came back to the field. He found out that the seeds have germinated, grown into mature trees, and each tree had many ripe fruits on it. He rejoiced exceedingly because each seed had developed into the same nature as its parent tree.
We are each a “God-in-Seed Form” sent to the world, so that we can pass through series of diverse experiences and become developed (perfect) even as our Heavenly Father is perfect. The world is God’s own school. Therefore, we are sent to the world to develop and realize ourselves as each a Small God – Bright, Glorious and Mighty Spirit! All because experience is the best teacher. That is why Jesus said that He has overcome and is sitting down with God on His (God’s) throne. He further said that He is waiting for others who would overcome to sit down with Him on the same throne.

"To him that overcomes
will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame,
and am set down with my Father in his throne."

Revelation 3:21

Therefore, the primary purpose of life on earth is not our everyday business engagements. It is not our education, which we earnestly strive for. It is not even marriage as some people have been made to believe and pursue. It is not even public recognition and fame as many wish for and aim at.
The primary purpose of our life on earth is for each of us to develop our Godliness, to become perfect even as God is perfect. All other things are secondary: wealth, money, education, employment, fame, recognition, etc: All are secondary.
Unfortunately, majority of mankind are either neglecting this most important assignment or are ignorant of it. That is why many labour everyday for the cares and worries of earthly life, and neglect their spiritual life and growth. They are the virgins who fail to provide oil for their lamps. They fail to prepare themselves adequately for the coming everlasting life. And none can do it for the other!
Henceforth, pay more attention to your spiritual life and progress.

Parable Of The Foolish Students
The kingdom of heaven is like the foolish students who went to school to learn. Everyday, they went to school, but would not enter the classroom. They preferred to stay inside the school compound playing games and whiling away their time. However well the teacher persuaded them to come into the classroom, they replied, "Our parents only told us to go to school. They did not tell us to enter the classroom and study."
Interpretation: Majority of the world do not want to learn from people who know. They want to go to heaven, but do not want to spend their time reading and studying about the heavens. They claim to know and worship God, whereas they do not know God and do not have time for God.

Parable Of The Only Wise Man
A thousand men went on a travel in search of precious pearls. When they got to a far away city, they decided to settle down and live in the city. While they were residents in the city, they acquired various kinds of wealth: gold, silver, diamond, etc. They built houses and lived a life of affluence.
Among the one thousand men was one wise man. He reasoned that the city was not his home. Therefore, each time he acquired a precious wealth, he sold it and sent the money home, to his bank account. After many years, he became a very rich man, and yet unknown in his city of residence. One day, there was a dispute in the city, and the dispute led to a war. It happened that all foreigners should leave the city. All strangers were not allowed to take even a little of their great wealth.
When the thousand men returned to their home city, they became men of great poverty, living a wretched life. Only that wise man became abundantly rich and renowned.
Interpretation: This parable explains the future of every person, who does not use earthly wealth to accumulate heavenly wealth. A wise man will use the little light he has to gain more light. There is no wisdom better than this.
You accumulate heavenly treasures when you engage in:
  1. Acts of Selflessness.
  2. Charity.
  3. Mercy.
  4. Growing in spirit and in truth.
  5. Support divine ministry, even if you are not a reverend minister.
  6. Seeking and knowing the Truth.
  7. When in abundance, you take what is enough for you, and give the rest to others.
  8. Etc
The Parable Of The Lonely Seeker
A seeker of truth went in search of God. He went to the mountains, the valleys, the rivers, the wilderness, the churches and colleges. This he did for many years, without success. One day, on his way he became weak and faint. Being weary, he sat down at the foot of a tree to rest in the shadow.
After a while, he fell asleep. In the sleep, he saw a very high mountain, and an Angel of the Lord was standing on the mountain. The Angel was so bright that he could not look at the Angel with the ordinary eyes. Immediately, he saw himself on the mountain top, kneeling down before the Angel.
Then the Angel disappeared. And a hand stretched down from the heaven and gave him a book to eat. He ate the book and woke up. When he came to himself, he said, “So, God is here, and I did not know it!”
Interpretation: Yourself is the Gate of Heaven. Did it not happen to Jacob? Spend time in silence and meditation (thinking about God). The Sole Purpose Of Life On Earth Is To Become Perfect Even As God Is Perfect.
